Abstract: This research explores the impact of adult education on personal development. The study aimed to investigate how participation in adult education programs affects various aspects of personal growth and self-improvement. The objectives were to assess the impact of adult education on personal skills development, to evaluate its effects on self-confidence and life satisfaction, and to identify the most effective educational strategies for fostering personal development. A survey research design was utilized to collect data from adult learners involved in personal development programs, as it allows for a detailed analysis of educational impacts on personal growth. A sample size of 300 adult learners was selected to provide a broad perspective on personal development outcomes. The purposive sampling technique was used to focus on individuals engaged in personal development-focused adult education. The case study was conducted in Imo, Nigeria, where personal development programs are actively promoted. Findings indicated that adult education significantly enhanced personal skills, self-confidence, and life satisfaction. The study recommended expanding personal development programs and incorporating diverse learning approaches to further support adult learners' growth and self-improvement.
